To be sung to the tune of "12 Days of Christmas"

On my first day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
I didn't even look I just fled

On my second day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
I didn't want to die so
I didn't even look I just fled

On my third day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
I had just saved my game and
I didn't want to die so
I didn't even look I just fled

On my fourth day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
I knew what happened next
I had just saved my game and
I didn't want to die so
I didn't even look I just fled

On my fifth day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
I peed my pants
I knew what happened next
I had just saved my game and
I didn't want to die so
I didn't even look I just fled

On my sixth day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
My heart fell into my stomach and
I peed my pants
I knew what happened next
I had just saved my game and
I didn't want to die so
I didn't even look I just fled

On my seventh day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
I saw a massive shadow
My heart fell into my stomach and
I peed my pants
I knew what happened next
I had just saved my game and
I didn't want to die so
I didn't even look I just fled

On my eighth day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
I heard a frightful screech
I saw a massive shadow
My heart fell into my stomach and
I peed my pants
I knew what happened next
I had just saved my game and
I didn't want to die so
I didn't even look I just fled

On my ninth day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
It all happened very quickly
I heard a frightful screech
I saw a massive shadow
My heart fell into my stomach and
I peed my pants
I knew what happened next
I had just saved my game and
I didn't want to die so
I didn't even look I just fled

On my tenth day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
I didn't have much warning
It all happened very quickly
I heard a frightful screech
I saw a massive shadow
My heart fell into my stomach and
I peed my pants
I knew what happened next
I had just saved my game and
I didn't want to die so
I didn't even look I just fled

On my eleventh day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
She was looking for some action
I didn't have much warning
It all happened very quickly
I heard a frightful screech
I saw a massive shadow
My heart fell into my stomach and
I peed my pants
I knew what happened next
I had just saved my game and
I didn't want to die so
I didn't even look I just fled

On my twelfth day of Skyrim
A shadow passed over my head
My wife was feeling quite neglected
She was looking for some action
I didn't have much warning
It all happened very quickly
I heard a frightful screech
I saw a massive shadow
My heart fell into my stomach and
I peed my pants
I knew what happened next
I had just saved my game and
I didn't want to die so
I didn't even look I just fled
Last year, as a Christmas present for my watchers, I wrote "My FavorLIT Things", a parody of a song from The Sound of Music. This Christmas it was DD'd by ^namenotrequired, for which I am very thankful.

I wanted to do something similar this year, but for weeks I've been trying to come up with something to no avail. I've been playing Skyrim a lot though and tonight it just suddenly hit me while I was trying to sleep. Better late than never I always say!

If you can keep a straight face through the last verse, SKYRIM HAS FRIED YOUR BRAIN.

Or maybe this is one of those things where I'm laughing hysterically while everyone else just stares at me awkwardly...

Oh God. I'll never play skyrim the same way again. XD Well, it'd have to be A HUSBAND FOR ME, BUT STILL.
