4TH ANNUAL LITERATURE COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER
The Literature Community Fundraiser is an annual event that aims to collect points for redistribution to the Literature Community here on deviantART.
What Inspired this Fundraiser?
The fundraiser was originally established to help literature group founders purchase Super Group subs for their groups. This year, however, the fundraiser is being expanded to all the literature community, whether a group or an individual. See below for more details on that.See previous results:

Why 300 days? What happens then?
Anybody who know me knows I love to give much more than I like to receive. My favourite gifts are the ones that allow me to give back in some way to the people I love or to the community. In 300 days, it will be May 9th, 2013, which just so happens to be my birthday. So, if helping out the Literature Community isn't enough incentive for you (which it should be!), think of it like you're giving me a gift, because really you are. A very special gift.
What is the goal of the fundraiser?
The goal this year is 30,000 points. So, if 40 deviants donated 800 points right now (which is the equivalent of less than $12 CAD each, we'd have already surpassed our goal. On top of that, for every 10 points you all donate, I'll personally donate 1 point! It really is very easy to reach this year's goal.
How do I donate?
It's easy! Go to my front page and in the fundraiser widget (which is always at the top right) click "Donate." Donate as many or as few points as you want--every little bit helps! The amount you donate will be immediately applied to the donation widget so we can keep track of our progress. I will continue to collect the points until May 9th, 2013.
What can the points be used for?
This year is going to be a bit different. Every other year of the fundraiser, the points were only intended for the purchase of Super Group subscription for literature groups. This year, the points will be distributed for anything literature related. It could be for contest or prompt prizes, giveaways, subscriptions, or anything else you can dream up. I'll be looking for practicality, but also creativity. The main rule is that the points have to be going for the benefit of literature community members on dA.
The application process will not be opened up until 2013, so for now, just start donating!
